Developing Learning Outdoors – Wednesday 6th November


This session will provide the opportunity to:-

  • Promote a range of activities and learning experiences in a variety of areas of the curriculum;
  • Focus on the importance of children’s physical development and mental health and well-being;
  • Focus on the different zones or areas within the outdoor environment of your school;
  • Focus on introducing a manageable system for planning at whole school level;
  • Consider the benefits offered by participating with Forest Schools and or TOPS programme through Playboard NI;
  • Encourage networking and developing connections between practitioners;
  • Empower practitioners to reflect upon and evaluate their own practice
