    • Focus on the importance of children’s physical development and mental health and well-being;
    • Focus on the different zones or areas within the outdoor environment of your school;
    • Focus on introducing a manageable system for planning at whole school level;
    • Consider the benefits offered by participating with Forest Schools and or TOPS programme through Playboard NI;
    • Encourage networking and developing connections between practitioners;
    • Empower practitioners to reflect upon and evaluate their own practice

    • focus on the different zones and how they connect with the areas of learning
    • build up a bank of ideas, activities and experiences to engage and inspire children
    • focus on process versus product initiated learning
    • encourage networking and developing connections between practitioners, and
    • empower practitioners to reflect upon and evaluate their own practice.
